I've installed 6.10 and am liking it a lot. However, I've noticed something odd. My screen resolves itself just fine at 1024 x 768 but, when I set it lower (800x 600) I get a set of strange vertical lines in the upper left hand of my screen. My vision isn't the best so 800 x 600 is better for me on this small monitor.
Has anyone else encountered this issue? This situation resolves itself when I re-set to 1024 x 768, the lines vanish after a re-start.
Any ideas on how to resolve this? If this was slackware I'd edit xorgconfig.

You can still edit the xorg.conf file to remove the 1024x768 resolution but first, I'd recommend you enter the exact vertical/horizontal refresh rates. That might be the problem.
