Hi,

I am fairly new to linux so I need some help please. I have recently installed all multimedia plugin's i.e. win32codecs and others, so I could play all types of video files and streaming video in firefox and watch DVDs in mplayer, xine etc. Streaming video and audio did not work untill I installed the 'MediaPlayerConnectivity' extension in firefox after that streaming video and audio worked.

However, when I rebooted my machine, I now get "nspluginscan" the KDE crash handler shows up 5 or 6 times. On looking at the log, it shows the following:

Now when I play streaming video in firefox it crashes/hangs up.

Could someone help me on how to fix it, should I reinstall kubuntu again?
