not recognize Ethernet cards

Why Ubuntu 9.04 not recognize Ethernet cards in my PC?please tell how i connect to the net?How can i install net card drivers in Ubuntu?

Maybe you should post some more meaningful information about your cards. For example, what is output of commands

dmesg
lspci
ifconfig -a

You are aware that 9.04 is out of support?

You would be better off with a newer vesion of ubuntu, or a current supported version of a different distro.
