Question Not getting minimised screen/audio play back problem in skype mode

SIR,
WHENEVER I MINIMISE THE SCREEN OF ANY FUNCTION WHILE WORKING WITH UBUNTU IT DISAPPEARS AND COULD NOT FOUND. IT HAPPENS ALWAYS i.e. ANY SCREEN OF WORKING ( DOCUMENT/INTERNET/PHOTO etc.. ) THAT TIME IT IS NOT SEEN IN ANY OF THE FOUR WORK PLACES.
ANOTHER PROBLEM IS OF THE SETTING OF SOUND SYSTEM ( MUTING OF FRONT SPEAKERS. WHILE USING SKYPE, THE HEADPHONE IS SHOWN AS " AUDIO PLAY BACK PROBLEM " WHENEVER I CALL TO ANY OF MY CONTACT.
PSE SOLVE MY PROBLEM AS I AM A NEW USER OF LINUX (UBUNTU) O.S.
TKS //

You might want to edit your post. Using only caps is considered as shouting.
