not able to extract
Hi all,
an error occurred while loading the archive. command exited abnormally.
Encrypted file: CRC failed in /home/zodiac/Desktop/opsbe.rar (password incorrect ?)
I have got the password but i am not able to enter password before extracting or in other words there is no option for entering password before extraction process is started by archive manager.
what exactly is the problem???
i have heard that it may be due to gpar2 or something like that,
what is this gpar2???

You fail to state how you tried to unpack the file. You need unrar.
# cd /home/zodiac/Desktop/
# unrar e opsbe.rar
UNRAR 3.50 beta 3 freeware Copyright (c) 1993-2005 Alexander Roshal
Enter password (will not be echoed) for opsbe.rar:
