Noice

Hi i am new to ubuntu ( and pretty new to linux)
Everything works but when i play mp3 and music in general, there is some noice in the sound picture! its like they are singing in a can!!
PLZ help!

hi there,

try decreasing a little bit the volume level of the following channels:

master
pcm

you can use alsamixer/amixer for that.
if they are set to 100% this can cause some distortion in your sound output.
just a tought.
