no Ubuntu graphical interface
 

i was switching from Ubuntu to DesktopBSD when it didnt work correctly (DesktopBSD). so i decided to reinstall Ubuntu 6.10 and i have problems. (besides the fact that i have to use windows xp right now). it loads grub, then comes up with something like a terminal. says something about tab (i cant remember as i didnt take a picture.) i will try to reinstall but i am contemplating as to whether or not i forgot to specify i wanted the graphical desktop-not command line. any ideas? i need them...

You need to give us the precise error message. "something about tab" is of no use.

ya-i know it was bad. i still dont know what the problem was, but when i reinstalled it, it was ok. my only regret is that i dont know what the problem was...
