no log martinsyslog
but all log go to /var/log/syslog

then i delete /var/log/syslog

and vi a new syslog file again, it can not log again even if restart rsyslog service and chown root syslog

On my Linux Mint system /var/log/syslog has a user of syslog and a group of adm. Ubuntu may configure the syslog user and group the same way.

it only update once, but no further log using tail -f /var/log/martinsyslog

and then continue update /var/log/syslog

after change owner and change group

moreover , there is no newline in martinsyslog
how to make the log new line for each log

after comment tcp and only use udp , it succeed to continue log switch in martinsyslog

after try again and again, i discover it need restart ubuntu
