no gimp toolbar on dist upgrade

Hi all,
my Ubunbtu has upgraded to 11.04. However when I open gimp the toolbar across the top of the image has vanished, even if if move the pointer to where it should be there's nothing? can some one tell me how to get it up.

*by toolbar I mean the file edit etc bar.

In Ubuntu 11.04, the the tools at the top of most applications have moved out of the window completely and are now in the top panel. They become visible only when you hover your cursor over them. If you don't like this option then you can log out, hit enter twice and options will appear at the bottom of your log in screen. Choose "Classic" and log back in. Now everything should be like it was in Ubuntu 10.10 and below. Another way you can access the tools is by right clicking anywhere on the pic.
