No desktop icons in Ubuntu

Question that I could not find

I want NO desktop icons in Ubuntu. All I could find was to go to gconf-editor/apps/Nautilus. I went there but could not find out where to turn off all icons. I tried a few things but could not see it.

Thanks in advance

Inside gconf, go to apps/Nautilus/Desktop and uncheck the icon boxes
