No Auto Reconnect on Reboot on Wireless

Jaunty

I can make a connection just fine using an old wirelss wmp11 to a G router.

I am using WEP, In the connection configuration dialog I have "Connect Automatically" checked.

When I reboot I still have to connect manually. Maybe the information in the checkbox is directed to make an entry in some configuration file.

Does anybody know which conifguration file to edit and what should be added or changed?

"Connect manually" - are you using the NetworkManager drop-down to select your AP? or are you referring to it asking you for a password to unlock your keyring?

As a side note, WEP should not be used anymore as it is in NO case secure. The sniffing/cracking tools are available in every distro and can be cracked in typically under 5 minutes by even the novice. Lean towards WPA2 for proper wireless security.
