New to ubuntu, can someone give me the ins and outs of apt?
My laptop is now officially a ubuntu system.
Ubuntu uses debian-based package managment, which I've heard is really good. I've also heard that it's similar to gentoo's portage system (except for building from source & USE flages.) Anyway, gentoo's handbook has a really good description/manual for portage, but I have yet to find something similar for apt. Can someone point me in the right direction? |
