New installation of Linux Secure some apps don't work

I installed Linux Secure from Sourceforge and "boot repair" won't launch. I tried reinstalling it and it still won't work. Ideas?

Run it from a terminal and post any error messages 'it wont work' isn't very helpful!

What I meant was the apps wouldn't launch. The icons were there but the apps weren't installed(Boot-Repair and OS Uninstaller). I installed "Synaptic" found the two apps installed them and that fixed it. Thank you for the reply.
