Unhappy Network Problems with vmware.

Hello Friends,
I followed this guide http://www.tanguay.info/web/tutorial...LinuxWithSamba
I did everything until i reached step 5 on that page.
i Type in the login for my account and since i have no password i leave it blank and leave DOMAIN as WORKGROUP then click connect but this is where the problem comes. This pop-up keeps on coming up and doesn't log in. I am stuck here. Can anyone help me out.

NOTE:
I am running Windows XP SP2. VMware Workstation 5 is installed. I installed Ubuntu 6.06 LTS on this with Host-only networking option. The ubuntu can see my XP PC because of the Virtual ethernet adapter. But doesnt login. I need to login. The virtual adapter has these ip settings:
Ip address: 192.168.0.1
Gateway: 192.168.100.151

In the Ubuntu in the Virtual machine it is:
Ip address: 192.168.0.2
Gateway: 192.168.100.151

When i never changed the IP Settings it still never worked.
This is a home computer. I standalone computer. Pls help. Thank You in Advance.
