nepomuk query service issues
 

Hi-

I noticed that if I add a comment like foo to a file it comes right up when i do nepomuksearch:/?query=foo

However, if I do nepomuksearch:/?query=hasTag:go I get zip or if I do
nepomuksearch:/?query=rating > 1 I get more of zed.

Is there a trick so that I can use the other metadata like ratings and tags to search for files? I have nepomukserver and the stringiclient on and stringi did an index.

I want to get better at linux searching. Last night I practiced some grep.

hi-

I can search metadata like tags, comments, and ratings.
strigi is indexed and its daemon is running along with strigi client.
I also have nepomukserver running too.

I can't however get it to search content.

Not sure about this as I am really stuck.

I get some funky msg about 0 or a very few files indexed if i go to kde "systemsettings".

Well..I was awake to late fooling with this. I will need a caffeine infusion tomorrow.
