Hello everyone,

I just switched from Gentoo to "the Gutsy" and I must say, I like it. But that is besides the point.

My question is:

In Synaptic I can install Mythbuntu-desktop or I can install Mythtv, what is the difference? Will Mythbuntu give me the choice to go for the xfce-based desktop in GDM or will it completely fook my install and change theme, bootsplash and that sort of things? I guess Mythbuntu-desktop is more "pre-setup", which I like but I'm afraid it will change to much on my system, being new to Ubuntu I'm not so at home yet changing this kind of stuff back as was on Gentoo.

Anyone installed Mythbuntu-desktop?

Hmm I guess it will severely change the looks and feel of my nicely customized system... I'm going for mythtv
