@dateofexpiration,
Nobody can help you until you provide some proper information. This text is at many different sites all over the web, here's one link: http://linuxmafia.com/faq/Essays/smart-questions.html Please read all of it. Then sleep on it. Then think about it. Then come back, and we'll do our best to help you. I am not being nasty, just practical. We can only help you if you are able to help yourself ;) |
my question is pretty simple. i am using gutsy. when i browse a folder filled with folders embeded with audio files the audio (music note) icon turns to a silver document icon, and for what was once a launchable sound file from nautilus no longer can be launched. this phenonemna i thought was unique to me playing sound files on my external backup drive started happening to my /home directory. logging in and out of gnome is what makes the found a sound file again.
dont see how i needed to view a "asking smart questions" website to say that. |
