mtink where is the ink and nozzle program

Hi,

loaded Ubuntu on my friends laptop works great where others would not work.

Rang with a problem though I had her printer working and i told her to use MTink. Problem is she cannot find it, on Mandrake 2007.0.

Is there another epson ink measure test and nozzle control program on Umbuntu if not what do you use to look at the ink supplies.

She keeps mentioning windoze has it?

I am confused I went to the page but there is no explanation what edgy, breeze are?

Never heard of these things?

Is this something to do with the debian system?

I have now successfully loaded the mtink program after a half day.

I thought over 50% of linux users have an Epson printer and this omission in the Ubuntu adds extra work on installing.

That was a real time consuming learning curve.

I hope that the omission of this valuable program is added to the next revision.

Now I have to get friend to install it too. First thing she complained about after leaving windoze.
