Monitor sleep but not lock desktop...

we have a computer at work that i reloaded with 17.10.1 ubuntu GNOME and is only used for a time clock thru the browser. i want the monitor to sleep after about 15 minutes but not lock the desktop so they don't have to type in the password. it had win 7 on it before and that is how it was. it needs to be idiot proof so workers don't have to enter a PW and just shake the mouse or tap the keyboard to wake up the monitor if needed. any ideas? thanks...

You should be able to turn off the lock setting; it's probably under Settings-->Display. Then, in the screensaver settings, you should be able to set the screensaver to "blank screen only" and the screen to go blank after X unit time.

If you can't find such a setting in the screensaver, let us know what screensaver program is installed.
