Missing icons
1 Attachment(s)
Since I updated Ubuntu 64-bits to the latest stable version (from 11.04 to 11.10) many icons went missing. In attachment I am sending you an example of that with my Desktop (some noise inserted for privacy reasons).
Can you help fixing this? |
Are the apps missing?
Can you start the apps from a command line? try right clicking on a empty space on the desktop and choose create launcher. |

Most part of the icons was fixed using
sudo apt-get install gnome-tweak-tool but there is still one that was not corrected - the "Alternador de Áreas de Trabalho". I believe this one had the problem still in Ubuntu 11.04. Can you help? |
Try using the launcher (see post #2).

The workspaces switcher (Alternador de Áreas de Trabalho) works, the only problem is that it has no icon.
Right-clicking on an empty space on the desktop does not provide any option to create a launcher. Any clues? |
