Memory error while accessing Network places after i login to samba!

hi,

I am running samba on Ubuntu 8.04 on AMD-64 and i am encountering strange problems when any user accesses the network places on the samba client. The samba client OS is winXP and when they access Network Places, it just throws an error "The Instruction at 0x77c472e3 reference memory at "0x00154078". The memory couldn't be written".
click OK to terminate the program
click CANCEL to debug the program

This doesn't happen when i log in locally! Can anyone help me with this.
