sudo +x /usr/sbin/martian_helper

it gave the error

sudo +x : command not found

plz help what do i do get this command work.
Rest of the compilation proccess and all other things were fine. I got stuck only at this point.

When you are issuing commands it is important to understand what they do. ... see "man sudo". Have you tried just

sudo /usr/sbin/martian_helper

assuming that the file "martian_helper" is executable.

You know the ltmodem drivers come with the Dapper package?

I have tried simply

sudo /usr/sbin/martian_helper

but the results are not as it should be. I know that sudo has options like -v -X and many others and these are listed when i type 'sudo --help' but '+x' is not there.
By the way what does 'sudo +x' mean and what should i do about it

I assume you mean
Code:
sudo chmod +x /usr/sbin/martian_helper

I wish I'd thought of that. Naturally the martian helper program won't work unless it is executable.

/usr/sbin should be in the path, so specifying the full location shouldn't be needed merely to execute martian_helper. Of course, it would have been clearer if Pr_009 has said exactly in what way "the results are not as it should be" after running sudo /usr/sbin/martian_helper.

It would be nice if we didn't have to do this kind of guessing game huh?

Shame you don't know what actually worked ... it would be a help to others in your situation.
