Making a new distro based off Ubuntu

How do I go about making a live-cd distribution based off Ubuntu Edgy Eft?

I have heard of the tools "reconstructor" and "UCK" but I don't know if they are any good.

Do any of you know about a tool or method (not too techy) that I can use?

If not, do you have any other suggestions for a PPC distro to base mine on?

Have you tried builder?

BTW IMHO, you should really consider contributing to an existing distro first (there are over 300 or so). It'll be a LOT less work and you'll learn more.

WHOA!

I would consider that too techy, plus it only works wiht Dapper (not Edgy)

I should have mentioned this in the first post If you're trying to just make a customised version of Edgy to suit your needs, maybe you could try editing the Live CD ISO with KISO:
http://kiso.sourceforge.net/info_ks.php
or maybe this is closer to what you're after:
http://livebackup.sourceforge.net/
I would like to try something like this myself, so please let us know how you get on.

It's not that I want to personalize it for me, its that I wont to make my own distr othat I can easily distribute to the masses.
