Make Ubuntu GNOME look like CentOS 7

I'd like to make Ubuntu GNOME look like CentOS. If you look at screen shots you can see that CentOS is using some sort of classic session.

https://wiki.centos.org/Screenshots

I tried added the GNOME 3 PPA, but it doesn't seem to have the classic session.

http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/ppa/gnome_3

Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.

Just to clarify - you want the GNOME Shell Classic extension, not the fallback GNOME Panel GUI.

Did you install the the right package for the GNOME Classic Shell after you added the PPA? I know at least in openSUSE it's called "gnome-shell-classic". I'd search for a package name similar to that. Once you install it, you can select "GNOME Classic" as you log in.

What version of Ubuntu GNOME are you using? Later today I might be able to look for myself and find the package name in the repos.

Correct! I don't want Fallback, or even some quality extension like "Application Menu"

My version is Ubuntu GNOME 15.10. I couldn't find it on my logon screen.

First I added the PPA, then I tried:

sudo apt install gnome-classic-session

That didn't work, so I most certainly didn't install the right package.

What if you searched the words "classic" and other related things in the Software Center and/or Synaptic? Does it come up there?

No, since it is included by default, I guess there is nothing to install.

I re-installed the OS, and now I see it at log on. Thanks again. Sorry for wasting your time.
