Lubuntu -- Menu bar still showing in LibreOffice fullscreen view
 

I like using fullscreen view, however in some distros including Lubuntu which I am now using, the menu bar doesn't go away. I even tried using version 7 (the AppImage) and the same thing happens. It seems to be a Lxqt or OpenBox setting that needs adjusting. Please help.

Sounds like it is default to always be visible on top of windows. Have you tried looking in settings if that can be changed?
Another way is there should be an option to hide the menu and it will pop up when the mouse hits that part of the screen, then hide when the mouse moves.
