Lubuntu 4.10 no audio with Youtube
 

I'm using Lubuntu 4.10 with Firefox and I have
no sound on Youtube.
I can play WAV files with Gnome Player, Alsaplayer,
Audacious, and Audacity so I do have Alsa working.
But on Youtube I have silence.
Is this a Firefox problem ? Do I need some
special software ?
Any information would be appreciated.

Made a mistake, as noticed. This is Lubuntu 14.10.
No, I will not install Pulse Audio. No pavucontrol for me.
I have other Linux distros with sound on Youtube using Firefox,
without Pulse Audio. So there is no need for Pulse Audio.
There must be some other way.

My apologies, I didn't realize until now that pavucontrol was associated with PulseAudio, otherwise I wouldn't have made the suggestion in the first place. ;)

Can you duplicate this problem using another browser?
