Lost Sound with Xine after Hardy Update

I just lost the sound to Xine after updating Hardy. It works fine otherwise and I have sound with Totem and VLC so it would seem to be a Xine-only problem.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help.

make sure it *IS* the xine engine thats your problem, download either kaffeine or amarok and see if you have sound there, i've also found that pulseaudio in ubuntu plays havok on alsa and xine and my xine config is rather touchy, i find that if you set the audio to auto, it works

hardy, sound, ubuntu, xine
