which distro are you using?

if you are using debian related OS (ex : ubuntu, debian) you can use app-get, if you are using Suse related OS (ex : suse, knoppix) you can use yast, if you are using red hat related OS (ex : red hat, fedora) you can yum for installing any package at any time.

You asked the same question in a similar thread yesterday !!
Distro = Ubuntu

Like weibullguy told you (yesterday)
Quote:

Why not install kismet using synaptics instead of trying to build it from source? If you insist on installing from source, then you need to install libncurses and libncurses-dev.
or please use this command, in a terminal : 'sudo apt-get install libncurses-dev'

Rgds
P.S.: And please get familiar with 'synaptics'
Synaptics has a search function, finding "everything".
Just search ncurses.
