kubuntu 5.10

i have been using ubuntu 5.04 for awhile now and love the synaptic download manager, i recently got a new computer and tryed out kubuntu 5.04 and i hated kubuntu's download manager, my question is how much better is the new Adept and Adept-Updater for kubuntu 5.10, and how does it compare to synaptic.

You can just sudo apt-get install synaptic and use Synaptic in Kubuntu--that's what I do.
