kubuntu.. 2 more questions..


i want to add an application to start of kubuntu...i want it starts when the kubuntu desktop started...
and i want to change the distances between icon on my desktop when i clicked align to grid...( distances is too much for me )

thanks for ur help

to add an application

try adding that command here

/etc/profile
or
/etc/bash.bashrc
DO TAKE BACKUP of these file before u change then ,so that u can revert back to older ones if something goes wrong

also regarding the space between icons go to control-center in the Kmenu and see of u can do that from there

You can also put the command in .kde/Autostart. You create a script and name it with a *desktop extension and when KDE starts, the program starts as well.

yes this will be a better option than mine
if u are going for kde u need to do this
