kubunto can not see my hard disk .. and so vector linux either

during instilling kubunto.. it try to see operating system in my hard.. i had windows xp and Free spire in another partition..so kubunto success to mount windows..and during mount the partition of free spire it make error and tell it could not mount it..and the instilling complete with out any problems..
and after boot to kubunto i can not see my storage media..only i can see the home partition...
and after that i remove kubunto and instill vector linux and i still keep free spire partition with out delete..
then i still can not see all my partitions..only i can see home partition...

i want to know..is this happen due to keeping free spire partition..or it is normal that kubunto and vector users can see only home partition..

i can boot to windows.. and i can not delete free spire partition cause i keep all my sof-ware in it...

In ubuntu, the Filesystem is hidden by default. just type / in the adress bar, and your in. Its kind of a security thing so people dont mess up the file system.
