KDE logs out after closing laptop .... Kubuntu

I'm kinda stumped here guys and dolls:Pengy: .... I was running Mepis on one hard drive and Slackware on another (just interchanged them) And decided to wipe the Mepis disk and install Kubuntu 6.10 which seems to be working pretty good but I've run across an annoying feature where KDE logs out anytime I close the laptop.... This did not happen with either other distro, instead it would just blank the screen out which a Fn + F8 turns the screen back on... That's what I'm looking to change about this current install.... The laptop is a Dell C610 and the Distro is Kubuntu 6.10

Thanks for any help..

In the KDE Control Center, go to Power Control->Laptop battery, and then select the "Button Actions" tab and change the lid closing option to you desires.

Hope this helps -

First off, I'm sorry it's taken me so long to reply.

I did not find Power Control in the Control Center..... I actually switched back to Mepis but upgraded to 6.0 ... There were just too many things about Kubuntu that I did not like and did not want to take the time to change, but thank you for your reply.
