Question JBoss 4.2.3 GA install through synaptic pkg manager

OS: Ubuntu 9.04
Objective: Installing JBoss 4.2.3 GA

Probably this is not the correct place to discuss this problem. Still it is related to Ubuntu Synaptic Package Manager.

Im trying to install jboss eas-4.2.3. The package manager installed all the packages marked for installation, but i am unable to start the jboss server. Perhaps the configuration part (jboss_init_redhat.sh) is missing after installation. This is what I understood after going through several forums. Moreover the forums discussed about how to download and configuration manually. Since I have already downloaded through the package manager, how do I configure it?

there isn't any '.sh' file like run.sh or shutdown.sh to start and stop the server. I have only the jars downloaded (jboss-run.jar, etc) to /usr/share/java/

How can these shell scripts be downloaded and configured?
