internet applications help

hi, i have a couple questions about some things to do on the internet on ubuntu

1. were can i download java
2. bit torrent wont work right, it says that it comes pre installed but i cant fin it and it wont open.
3. can i get limewire
4. i cant seem to get gaim setup with my msn, anytips?

1. Java... Its bundled in GCC... check the package manager
2. It worked for me (I've destroyed my Ubuntu partition in change for LFS)... Not much comments...
3. Not sure.. Never tried that... Check you package manager
4. My pidgin worked fine... So... Not much I can help you with
