Installing ubuntu
 

Hello.
Is there a difference in contents between CD and DVD isos for Kubuntu?
Also if I create a seperate /boot partition, where should grub to hd0 or partition where I mounted /boot. Been a long time since I reinstalled linux, so memory really hasy on what I did. :)

The (K)Ubuntu DVD contains both full installation methods and more packages.

GRUB should be installed to the MBR of the drive the bios will attempt to boot unless you have some compelling reason to do otherwise.
