Installing mplayer- cross dependencies

i tired to install mplayer in my system having drapper. i collected all dependencies. but when i tried to install libgii0, it showed an error stating it needs libgii0-target_x. when i tried to install libgii0-target_x it errored showing it needs libgii0. what to do?

Why aren't you installing via apt-get or Synaptic?

You will save yourself considerable grief if you always try to install with Synaptic before trying a generic deb package or a compile. Synaptic and the Ubuntu repositories save you from dependency hell.
