Installing live dvd ubuntu-14.04.2-desktop-amd64-gnuradio-3.7.8git-snapshot-2015-0726

How do you install a live dvd of "ubuntu-14.04.2-desktop-amd64-gnuradio-3.7.8git-snapshot-2015-0726" onto a hard disk drive in a multi-boot environment.

not sure about specifics but in general you boot up the pc with the dvd in the drive (you mite need to go into bios and set it to boot the dvd as highest priority -- every pc/manufacturer/model/bios is different).

then i think once it boots up there i think will be an install-to-harddrive link in the menu. when you click on it follow the prompts for the various install steps.

This ISO version does not contain the install-to-harddrive link in any menu or any where on the disk. That is why I am have such a hard time trying to install on my system.

according to the GNU Radio Live SDR Environment website:
Quote:

The GNU Radio Live SDR Environment, produced by Corgan Labs, is a bootable Ubuntu Linux DVD or USB drive image, with GNU Radio and third party software pre-installed. It is designed for quick and easy testing and experimentation with GNU Radio without having to make any permanent modifications to a PC or laptop. It does not, however, provide for permanent installation.
