Installing Gwenview Plugins

I am new to Linux and pretty much up and running.

I recently realized that with Ubuntu the plugins for Gwenview are not installed with the package so I am trying to figure out how to install them.

Is there an easy command line way to do this?

Have you tried Synaptic Package Manager? I did a quick search in Synaptic and found, Gwenview, kipi-plugins, and kipi-plugin-docs

Sorry for reviving the old thread, but doing so since it still looks relevant.

I browsed other articles and found that kipi-plugins is still a relavant package to install to use plugins in gwenview. I went ahead and installed the same on my Arch box (KDE4). However, the plugins menu in gwenview is greyed and i dont seem to be able to see/use any plugins.

Any pointers?
