instability on Kubuntu AMD64

What would make Kubuntu 6.06 on AMD64 act as though it were unstable? Firefox will randomly crash, and occasionally the computer will log out the user.

This is an install that is only a few weeks old, and all the updates thru Adept are done. thanx

We're using essentially the same packages, and firefox is one of the apps that's randomly dying for me. I recall having X crash to the login screen a few times, but it hasn't done it recently and so I'd concluded it was something unrelated.

If you don't use any 64bit only apps then you could just install the normal x86 version and it will work fine.
