In what other locations does Unbuntu define hostname?

The name of my host is correctly defined in /etc/hostname and /etc/hosts. Still, it would appear that there are some other locations where it is still identified as localhost.localdomain, as certain programs such as mail and the vnc config program identify the host as such. Fedora, the only other distro I know, has a /etc/sysconfig/network file which specifies the hostname, but Ubuntu doesn't have this. Where else could it be defined?

Actually, it's all in the ordering of the hosts file. Whichever entry is first after the localhost entry in the hosts file is generally used as the hostname, IIRC.
