If I update to the newer version of Ubuntu will ndiswrapper still work?

I currently have ubuntu edgy installed on my computer. I checked the system update and saw that the newer version of ubuntu is out.

My question is the following:

I currently use Ndiswrapper in order to be able to use my wireless internet card. If I update to the newer version of Ubuntu will this interfere with Ndiswrapper???

please let me know.

If the update changes or upgrades the kernel, then no, as ndiswrapper is a kernel module.
