How to remove Ubuntu

Dear all pls advise how to remove the Ubunto from my disk and to keep XP? they are in different part

do you advise freespire?

The Ubuntu partition can simply be formated. However, if you do so, you won't be able to boot into windows anymore because GRUB will still sit on the first part of your disk but it will be broken. In order to repair this, you need to boot off a windows cd and do a repair by using the command "fixmbr".

Whether freespire is a good product depends on your expectations. Why do you remomve Ubuntu? If we knew, we should be able to make suggestions for another distro.

I want to remove it because it couldnt find my external modem usrobotic sportster 56k (i was on that site linmodes.org) didnt help
2 i coulnt find nvidia driver for linux or Ubuntu nv17 geforce 440

but now will iwas reading about freespire installation found out that that version dosenot support dial up modem

Im not professional user just want improve my skiles and want to discover linux but it seems to heavy for selftraining
