I am using amarok and I find the upgrade from kde 3xx to kde 4xx is as bad as the rest of kde 4xx. How do I go about downloading the kde 3 version of amarok.
Thanks but apt-get could not find "amarok-kde3" and the "wiki" came up with "no address"
No big deal as I am ok with the current amarok, but I get irritated with "Enhancements to the point of non-usability" since I am a "user"

My philosophy is, if it works don't fix it! Thus I don't tend to install upgrades when they come out unless they are high priority or security fixes. I usually wait on installing the bulk of the upgrades until I have some free time to fix things.
Basically I'm with you.
I have 2 hard discs and I toggle between them when an upgrade is released.
I had been using Kubuntu 8.04 and was quite happy with it. I installed Kutuntu 8.10 on the other drive when it was released. When I saw what they had done to it, I installed Ubuntu 810 on the drive, and started using it and was satisfied with it thus freeing up the drive that had Kubuntu 8.04. I tried Linux Mint 6 on it, liked it better then Ubuntu 8.10 because I could play amovie or an Amarok stream directly with out downloading any support files. Then Mint 7 came out which I liked better then 6 except for the Amarok. That's the story of my life.
