Sorry, your message is a little hard to understand, but here's my understanding of what you're doing:
You used a Ubuntu Live CD (32 bit or 64bit?) to try out ubuntu. For whatever reason, X is not displaying properly (any more details than that?) and you also want to know how to install linux to your hard drive.
Okay, first of all, your machine may not run the default Ubuntu very well at all since Gnome is a very heavy desktop. The good new is that you can follow this
guide to do a minimal install and then
install xfce desktop (be sure to do the "How to Add Extra Repositories" section) and make it all run a bit more snappy.
To install Ubuntu, you'll need a different CD than the live cd. You want to download the x86.iso from the
Ubuntu site.
