i also get a 404 on that link.
that app most probably isn't available specifically for wily; you can try to install an older package, but you will have a hard time finding one, and even if you find it, chances are it won't work on a ubuntu wily install. |
Hi,
I tried changing ppa distribution from wily to precise. After that, apt-get Update was successful. But when i try install i am getting following messages : # apt-get install nokuntusp Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: nokuntusp : Depends: gambas2-runtime but it is not installable Depends: gambas2-gb-gui but it is not installable Depends: gambas2-gb-form but it is not installable Depends: gambas2-gb-pcre but it is not installable Depends: gambas2-gb-settings but it is not installable Depends: gambas2-gb-xml but it is not installable E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages. # Kindly help . Mixing versions always leads to bad results. You may have to face the fact that this software is not available for your distro. I dual boot Windows for just this reason...

you don't want to descend into that dependency hell. plus, i think i used this program a few years back, it was never very stable. probably not worth the effort. fwiw, you can access phone's memory & sdcard as normal usb devices, which is better than what hoops one has to jump htrough to get smartphones connected. |
Hi,
How about using Nokia PC suite top of ubuntu using wine loader Thanks MAK |
try it.

Hi,
I have installed wine1.7 and installed nokia pc suite using wine loader in ubuntu 15.10. Nokia PC Suite installation was successfully, but i am unable to connection my nokia c2-00 device in any possible connection. I am getting the following error : There is no available connection type and therefore connection to phone cannot be established. The wizard will exit. Question : 1) How can make my bluetooth device visible in wine1.7 which is already enable in Ubuntu system. Thanks MAK |

search their pages what exactly are you trying to achieve? why do you think you need nokia pc suite? edit: ...wait a second, what, bluetooth??? |
Hi ondoho,
My requirement is very simple. Accessing my nokia c2-00 mobile's calls, messages, contacts, and access Internet through DUN [some how I have achieved using RFCOMM + Bluetooth Dial up] in bluetooth. I have already worked in nokia pc suite with windows combination. I wanted same features to be in Ubuntu. Thanks MAK IBM |

- with a cable, not bluetooth - if you're lucky, the phone has tethering abilities - else, with a little setup and some utility like wvdial. ...i actually used a nokia phone to connect to the internet. no pc suite required, just native linux apps! it was on arch linux, here are the instructions: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/USB_3G_Modem please note the related articles on the right side, most importantly: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php...dems_with_pppd |
