MS had released Teams as a DEB file since 2019 but they decided to stop. I don't know why. I assume it is bc MS wants to do "write once, run anywhere" and developing one version for each version of Windows, one for each Linux distro, one for various Mac OSX versions is too much work.
It is now a web only app.
They are pushing for a web version of MS Office as well.
I have Teams installed under Kubuntu 22.04.
I do not use it much but it works. I only used it to send chat messages since that is what some coworkers wanted.
I don't have experience with the web version.
