how to install john the ripper jumbo version in the system?

I have made changes to 3 files : Makefile, crypt_fmt.c and john.c.

In Makefile,

Append "-lcrypt" to line "LDFLAGS = -s", making the line reads as:

LDFLAGS = -s -lcrypt

Created a file named crypt_fmt.c

Finally added two lines (Red) to john.c:

extern struct fmt_main fmt_crypt;

but when run the cracker using ./john --test, it shows

"bash: ./john: No such file or directory"

so what should i do inorder to run the jumbo version of john the ripper in GPU?

Thank You....

You've made changes, so suspect your own work first. Usually works for me:-P.

also run ldd path/to/john |grep found
to check libraries. the correct result is no output (all libs found).
