How to install Grub other than MBR?

This is my first intall of kubuntu. I download the new beta 7.x. I have 4 drives and I want to install Grub first stage in the first sector of the first partition of the sdc (I have 4 sata)drive so it should be hd2,0 isn't? Where I can do the change?

TIA

Well I did the change in "advance" and the installation crashed. Then I found that to get the real linux I have to download the alternate CD. I do not understand why they can not have the same cd but with the option to install grub wherever you like it. I am sure there is a good reason.
