How to force eth1 keeps manual IP


When set manually a IP config and let Manual Config, when restart the NIC
returns to Dinamic mode. How to force keep the manual IP config?

edit the file I use vi in this example

sudo vi /etc/network/interfaces
ie something like this just customized for your setup

then restart the network
