Regarding the licensing issues of Adobe Flash Player, read sections 2.1 and 2.2 of the Adobe License,

they cover all of the licensing issues. Thus, I can redistribute Adobe Flash Player if it is bundled with my installer (and Linux is one of the allowed Operating systems that have clearance to freely redistribute Adobe Software).
But, please please please let me know if I missed something in the license which says otherwise.
Also, I wanted Java to come with my distribution, and last I recall, I think Java was under the GPL (GNU Public License). Is that the case?
